We take both the patient and the pet owners’ needs in consideration when developing treatment plans, the reality is that the clinic must be managed as a financially healthy business. This is the “hard side” to the daily rewards of providing quality veterinary services to our clients.
The Chisholm Trail Pet Clinic is not subsidized by any governmental or private grant monies. We do not have a non-profit organization status. Our supplies are not donated. As a privately owned small business, we pay both property and income taxes, and receive utility service from the City of Bowie at the standard commercial rate.
We are staffed by professional individuals who are paid for their work and then contribute their earnings to our local economy. Payment is expected in full when services are rendered. Extended billing, delayed billing, and payment plans are not offered. Our clinic collects payment in the form of cash, personal check, credit/debit card, and CareCredit and/or ScratchPay.
Your personal check is welcome here with valid identification. If you make payment by check you are agreeing to a contractual agreement. If your check is returned, it may be re-presented electronically or by paper draft and you will be responsible for any and all penalties, costs and incidental damages, collection cost and taxes on any check that is returned. A return fee will be charged on any item that is returned by your bank and these fees may be collected electronically or by paper draft.
